Desiccation can cause chemical or physical changes and those can ruin the goods. Dehydration sensitive products require to preserve starting water content during storage and transportation by the usage of appropriate packaging materials.

Water content can be kept within the product using thousand times more efficient water vapour permeability barrier foil than normal PE for wrapping.
